Female artists are always to be celebrated on lineups with an ongoing goal of increasing representation. This year’s lineup provides a diverse group of women to watch with headlining sets by Rezz and Megan Thee Stallion to performances by singer and rapper Ashnikko and house DJ, VNSSA. There are a number of talented women to check out each day of the festival and here are our must-see picks.

Khiva

Khiva makes her Okeechobee debut with not one, but two sets, waterside at Aquachobee followed by a night set amongst the flames of Incendia. Khiva was greatly inspired by New Zealand-based Truth, and she went on to release her debut EP on their label, Deep, Dark & Dangerous. Her music is known to be dramatic, deep, 140 bass, and she incorporates her own unique lyrics and vocals.

VEIL and NotLö

These two women are a force to be reckoned with, throwing down experimental bass. Both are providing support on LDSream’s Peace, Luv and Wubz tour and released a collaborative EP on WAKAAN. You can catch their individual sets followed by a b2b all at the HERE stage on Sunday.

Get ready to watch a powerful set bringing together experimental hip-hop, psychedelic bass and indigenous hand drums. She released an EP on Deadbeats in 2021, Enough is Enough, that was accompanied with a mini-doc taking viewers through the making of the EP. ‘AHD’ uses her music to fight for social justice, sharing a strong message on systemic racism and what it is like to be Black in America. She is sure to set the tone for the final day with the opening set on the HERE stage.
