When it comes to electronic music, bringing an album to life through the production of a live show can often be a difficult feat. This is something that Massachusetts-bred producer Big Wild has achieved effortlessly on his new Superdream Tour. From live drums and guitar players to beautiful light production and visuals, the artist fused together various elements to create a cohesive and beautiful interpretation of his latest album “Superdream.”
Big Wild began releasing music in 2013 and after his release of his beat-heavy and groovy EP in 2017, Big Wild was playing festivals and shows around the world. In February of this year Big Wild released a fresh full-length album “Superdream” featuring plenty of guitars strings, groovy rhythms, and catchy lyrics. This fall Big Wild has kicked off the Superdream Tour in support of his album, playing around the country with Evan Giia and Ark Patrol.
We had the chance to catch Big Wild’s Austin show at Emo’s. The show was a beautiful two hour escape from the real world which features sparkly outfits, multiple costume changes by the guitarists, a beautiful connection between Big Wild and the crowd, and of course Big Wild’s rhythmic music. Big Wild will be continuing his tour across the US throughout November and tickets can be found here. You can stay up-to-date with the artist on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
