Aseem Mangaokar, or Hotel Garuda as the EDM world knows him, is a DJ and producer known for creating dance music that is versatile and bouncy, fitting perfectly on summer playlists. The artist has created remixes for artists like Lorde, Lana del Rey, Kaskade, and Galantis. His remix of Banks’ track “Beggin for Thread” is his most popular remix to date, surpassing over 20 million streams on Spotify.
Performing alongside MEMBA and Jai Wolf, Hotel Garuda played an official ACL Late Night Show at Austin’s iconic venue, Emo’s. After stepping on the stage, Hotel Garuda asked the crowd if anyone else had seen Tame Impala’s performance at Austin City Limits the previous night, clearly moved by the performance.
Hotel Garuda delivered a smooth and fun set, warming the crowd up for Jai Wolf who followed. Songs the artist mixed included “One Reason,” “Fixed On You,” and his newly released track “Head In The Trees.”
