Bumbershoot’s lineup for 2019 was long awaited by fans of the Seattle-based festival. Luckily for music lovers, the wait is now over and the lineup does not disappoint. Excitingly, this year 37% of the lineup are female musicians, a slight increase from last year’s 35%. When looking at the top 1/4 of the bill, 47% of the artists are female. This is a great step in the right direction on the festival’s part, and other festivals should follow Bumbershoot’s lead. Top billed female artists include EDM heavy hitter Rezz, Canadian pop queen Carly Rae Jepson, and R&B artist H.E.R.
In addition to Rezz, The Lumineers and Tyler, the Creator will be headlining the festival. Top undercard artists include Two Feet, Flora Cash, Matt Maeson, COIN, and A R I Z O N A.
Bumbershoot will take place on Labor Day Weekend (August 30th-September 1) at the Seattle Center in Seattle, Washington. 3 Day GA tickets are priced at $220, 2 Day GA at $165, and Single Day GA passes at $109. The festival is also offering VIP and “Emerald” packages. Check out the tickets here!
