As the end of the year approached, so does SnowGlobe. The annual South Lake Tahoe festival is just 8 days away, and while the schedule is not out yet here’s a few artists you don’t want to miss.
Above & Beyond
Above & Beyond are an incredible group with a career that spans almost 20 years. They have been granted this year’s countdown set and are sure to blow people away with their always uniting sets. If you’re lucky, you may even be able to end your year by pushing the button.
Rezz

Rezz, adoringly referred to as Space Mom by her fans, is absolutely crushing the scene right now with her unique sound and ability to take you on an out of body experience during her set. Make sure to stake out a spot where you can see her stunning visuals as they only add to the experience.
RL Grime

RL Grime returns to Snowglobe on the 30th to close out an amazing year. Throughout 2018, he released the fantastic album “Nova,” my favourite mix of the year, “Halloween VII,” and blew me away with his set at Life Is Beautiful. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the festival and next year.
NGHTMRE and SLANDER Present: Gud Vibrations

Gud Vibrations is the incredible b2b experience put on by NGHTMRE and SLANDER. This year alone, they’ve managed to take over festivals by playing amazing sets and hosting stages. With the fairly recent introduction of the Gud Vibrations record label, these boys are bound to have some surprises in store for the set that will end your year on a Gud note.
Sofi Tukker
Sofi Tukker is a two time Grammy nominated duo who are known for an encapsulating sound and fun live show. You may recognize their song “Best Friend” from the iPhone X commercial that came out in September of last year or even their song “That’s It (I’m Crazy)” from the Red iPhone 8 release. While I’ve yet to properly see them play live, I do hope to make that change.
Ekali

Ekali is a Vancouver based producer well known for his unique sound and incredible collaborations. His 2018 release the “Crystal Eyes EP” was definitely one of my favourites of the year. If his recently released Awakening Mix 06 is anything to go by, Snowglobe attendees are in for a treat.
Said The Sky

Said The Sky is part of the group of melodic bass producers known by fans as the Sadbois, and while you’re probably more likely to cry during his set than break your neck it will most definitely be a fun one. Well known for his live performances including drums and piano, his set is not one to miss if you’re looking to vibe out.
Phantoms
Phantoms are a duo of former Disney stars, Kyle Kaplan and Vinnie Pergola, who just so happen to put on a great live set. In October, the duo released the super catchy song “Lay With Me” featuring Vanessa Hudgens which quickly accumulated streams. Their live set is full of fun times and danceable tunes off their 2017 self-titled album as well as their previous releases..
Recently added to the lineup, were quite a few rap acts including G-Eazy and Rae Sremmurd as well as the incredible Kaskade who are all sure to put on incredible sets that are not to be missed.
