This year we have seen the Swedish three piece LINES release a string of moody, layered, alternative pop tracks and this week they are back with another one. Featuring Adele Kosman, LINES’ latest single ‘People’ is a unique blend of synths, 80s energy, and funky beats. LINES describe their new track as their personal anthem.
People is our anthem. It’s a song about who we are and a celebration of the people around us, our friends. It’s an invitation to a future of love, tolerance and inclusion.
The production of ‘People’ is in the same realm as M83, The Knife, and Depeche Mode, the heavy synths provide a unique sense of escapism for the listener. ‘People’ has me more eager to see what else LINES has in store for us.
