After touring with Cat Pierce earlier this year, the seven-person rock band Swimsuit Issue will be hitting the road again – but only for two special shows. This time teaming up with the indie pop musician Julietta, Swimsuit Issue will be playing in Brooklyn on September 10th and in Philly on September 17th.
Swimsuit Issue first caught my attention when they released their first single ‘Look Now’ which gives off some serious old school rock vibes. I fell in love with their sound even more after the release of their second track ‘EP3’ which has a beat so good I couldn’t stop hitting the replay button. Check out the music video for ‘EP3’ below to see what I mean!
The band will be co-headling the two shows with Julietta, who just released her debut album ‘Smooth Sailing.’ The album is chocked full of fun synths, layered instrumentals, and relatable lyrics. Check out her 80s-sounding bop ‘Hard Love’ below!
Swimsuit Issue and Julietta will be playing at Elsewhere (Zone One) in Brooklyn on September 10th and at Kung Fu Necktie in Philly on September 17th. Tickets can be bought here. You can also stay up-to-date with the artists by following Swimsuit Issue and Julietta on Instagram.
