Hope. Resistance. Power. Those three words encompass what I witnessed during the Women’s March in Vancouver over the weekend. It was freezing cold and pouring rain but thousands of people still came to march. A sea of umbrellas walked the streets, blocking of traffic until we reached the Trump tower.

I will continue to fight for and stand with others until we receive the treatment we deserve. Everyone is equal and should be treated as such. I feel so empowered and lucky that I was a part of this and I hope that 2018 is a year filled with less hatred and more love. If we spent more time loving and accepting one another instead of judging, imagine how great the world would be?

I brought my film camera along and tried my best to document the experience.
