New York City has always held a special place in my heart. New York is the one place in the world that has surpassed my very high expectations. As cliche as it may sound, even my worst day spent in this city is always over powered by something magical; some form of connection that can’t be found anywhere else. The views are far from underwhelming, yet the magic of the city isn’t in the lights. It is in the simplicity. It’s the familiar face in the elevator on your way to work each morning. It’s the reaction of commuters standing shoulder to shoulder during rush hour on the 1 train as the conductor makes an announcement reminding everyone to approach life with a “glass as half full” attitude. It’s the doorman that nods to you with a friendly smile and wishes you well as you walk to your apartment in the Upper West Side. This city is full of people from so many different walks of life, all with goals larger than themselves. Astounding.
No picture I could take would ever capture the heart of this city but boy, did I try.
Here are a few iPhone 6 pictures I snapped while galavanting around the most majestic city on earth.

All of my best New York memories took place on a subway platform. My one suggestion for anyone visiting the city would be to take the train. If not to save money, do it for the experience. There’s just so much to learn in that magnificent underground world.
